The 3 Seas Initiative Summit can also bring new opportunities for Slovakia from digitalisation. The President of the Digital Coalition, Mário Lelovský, took part in the summit on 6-7 September and presented the projects under the umbrella of the current Digital Coalition, demonstrating good practice not only within Slovakia but also in the cooperating countries. The Roundtable discussed the opportunities of the twelve three Sea countries involved in the digital transformation of businesses, products and services. President of the Digital Coalition, Mário Lelovský, spoke here on “ Developing human resources and enhancing digital skills for all population groups is a prerequisite for a successful digital transformation”.
The three seas initiative (Baltic, Black Sea and Adriatic Seas) is an informal political platform bringing together 12 Member States of the European Union between the three seas – Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia. Strategic partners supporting the three seas initiative were also present at the Bucharest meeting: European Commission, Germany and the USA.
