eBiznify Lite and ICT Skills Demand and Supply Monitor Report launches and eBiznify graduation

eSkills Malta Foundation, in collaboration and partnership with Malta Communications Authority (MCA) organised the eBiznify LITE Launch & Graduation Ceremony on 22nd July 2021 at the Phoenicia hotel in Valletta.

Mr Joseph Seychell from MCA welcomed the attendees and gave a brief introduction of the event. This was followed by addresses by Mr Jesmond Bugeja, MCA CEO and Mr Carm Cachia, eSkills Chief Administrator. Mr Cachia spoke about the launching of the ICT Skills Demand and Supply Monitor Report, a study undertaken by eSkills Malta Foundation. The study provides an accurate snapshot of the current demand of ICT Skills by ICT entities (ICT companies, departments and units) and the supply of ICT education and training in Malta.
An overview of the eBiznify training programme was given by Ms Denise Borda from MCA and Mr Stephen D’Alessandro, Director from Advenio eAcademy.

Ms Borda stated that the current retail realities require all enterprises of various sizes to adapt and thrive under all circumstances. Hon. Silvio Schembri addressed this event and stressed on the importance of the right technical and business skills and competences to develop and support the underlying digital platforms.

41 individuals have completed and graduated from the eCommerce course. The graduation ceremony was presided by Hon. Schembri.
