EU CodeWeek is set to kick off in 2023 with a bang! As part of this exciting initiative, the eSkills Malta Foundation is stepping up to provide free coding sessions. In this article, we’ll delve into the significance of EU CodeWeek and how eSkills Malta Foundation is making coding accessible to all. This year EU CodeWeek will be celebrated between the 7th and 22nd October 2023.
EU CodeWeek is a yearly initiative that encourages people of all ages to explore the world of coding, programming, and digital creativity. It aims to demystify the art of coding and highlight its relevance in our increasingly digital world. By offering a wide range of coding events and activities, EU CodeWeek empowers individuals to develop essential digital skills, fostering innovation and creativity.
eSkills Malta Foundation, a key player in digital skills development, is playing a pivotal role in EU CodeWeek 2023. The Foundation is sponsoring free coding sessions to engage and educate participants of all ages and skill levels. These sessions are designed to be accessible and easy to understand, making coding a fun and enriching experience for everyone.
The coding sessions are open to everyone. Whether you’re a complete beginner or have some coding experience, there’s something for you. These sessions cover a variety of coding topics, starting from the basics. You’ll learn how to write simple lines of code, create websites, develop mobile apps, and even explore advanced topics like artificial intelligence and robotics. The sessions are designed to be hands-on and interactive. You’ll be guided by experienced instructors who break down complex concepts into easy-to-understand steps. You’ll get to experiment with real code and see how it works in action.
This year the Foundation in collaboration with private, church, and independent schools is organising a fantastic coding event called the “Coding Festa Hour”. This is a great opportunity for schools to participate in EU CodeWeek 2023 and promote digital skills and creativity.
