Cedefop: Going digital means skilling for digital! November 30, 2023
On January 10, 2023, the St Benedict College Ħal Kirkop organised an Education and Career Activity called LEVEL UP! MASTER YOUR FUTURE aimed at students attending college. The event gave them the opportunity to explore their career and educational possibilities once they finish their current studies. Professional representatives from institutions of different fields, including; health, hospitality, university and others, participated, aiming to attract pupils towards their sector. The format of the event was that of a fair with stands that the students visit and engage with. More than two hundred fifty students, as well as a number of educators, attended.
eSkills Malta Foundation also participated with a stand in order to present students with information and show them the myriad of possibilities available to them not only to further their studies in the digital sector but also to raise awareness of the importance of digital literacy throughout their future professional life.
Gauging by engagement and questions, the activity was interesting appreciated and impactful.
